The Shockwave Festival, an inaugural tour which was to presented by Full Metal Jackie and was to feature headliners Fear Factory & supporting acts including Voivod, Last Chance To Reason, Vildjharta & more isn't going to happen, according to a slew of recent posts from bands' websites. 

The state of the tour, which was scheduled to begin in just TWO days on July 6, has seemed somewhat precarious as of late as one by one bands have been announcing that they'd be dropping off the bill. No specifics seem to have been mentioned, though "broken promises" seems to be the general explanation. 

Its unfortunate, because this bill actually represented a bit of a different vibe than a lot of the other big summer tours - and we can never have enough summer festivals to get out to. Hopefully many of these bands will be able to land spots on other tours and won't find themselves out of work all summer.
