10 Years release new music video & second single off "Minus The Machine"
With the highly-anticipated release of “Minus The Machine” looming just about 1 month away, its no doubt that everyone within the 10 Years camp is getting anxious. So anxious, it seems, that the band released a second single today, just weeks after the album’s 1st, “Backlash”, was revealed. The second single, “Knives” comes complete with a music video composed of a mixture of behind-the-scenes & performance footage gathered over previous tours.

Metal Fans injured by lightning strike at weekend festival
Over fifty concertgoers were hurt and nine sustained serious injuries after a single lightning bolt struck a metal mast at a festival in eastern Germany. The With Full Force Festival Saturday night brought out over fifty bands for the weekend metal festival, but unfortunately fifty-one people were hurt after the freak lightning accident. According to Spiegel Online, the lightning strikes sent some music fans home early, and those who stayed were left behind in a wasteland of destroyed tents and deep puddles of mud. Emergency services spent several hours at the scene treating those who had been hurt by the lightning bolt strike. Luckily, no one was fatally injured and most of the injured concertgoers were able to go home the same night.
...Trivium Bassist Impresses Very Special Fan
Florida band Trivium brought out a very special fan for their performance at last weekend's Gods Of Metal Festival in Milan, Italy. The band's Italian-American bassist Paolo Gregoletto invited his family to his other "hometown" concert on June 24. His biggest fan, his grandmother, was proudly sitting on the side of the stage during Trivium's performance. She watched proudly from the side of the stage as her grandson rocked out and fans moshed enthusiastically to the band’s metal grooves. Check out video footage and a photo below.
