Fred Durst posts short clip from the studio as Limp Bizkit prepares Cash Money debut
Limp Bizkit frontman and perennial "chocolate starfish" Fred Durst took to his personal Twitter account today to show the world what is happening behind the scenes as the band prepares their next record. The album, which will be the band's Cash Money Records debut, is getting a fair amount of buzz. If nothing else, many seem to be simply interested in finding out what the hell Limp Bizkit collaborating with Cash Money will sound like.
A few weeks ago, when the record deal was suddenly and bewilderingly announced, it was also revealed that a collaborative track featuring Limp Bizkit and Cash Money royalty Lil' Wayne was to be released within a week's time, though the track is still mysteriously yet to be seen.
The clip posted by Durst, which can be viewed below, is a mere 14-seconds long, but features enigmatic guitarist Wes Borland's fingers dancing around the fretboard to give a taste of what the album's guitar tones may sound like. Durst interestingly titled the clip, "Borlander in My Studio Dropping Bombs".
Check out the clip and judge for yourself, though there truly isn't enough of anything here to make any sort of a judgment. We'll have more on this developing saga as it unfolds!
