Never before has the world seen a battle of such epic proportions

While many may believe that the war between fast-food giants is waged through marketing decisions and franchise opportunities - the truth is that it is actually a perpetual fight-to-the-death between restaurant mascots that determines the fates of your artery-clogging & poor meal choices.

On battlegrounds unbeknownst to the blissfully ignorant restaurant patrons, titans clash and casualties occur. Remember "The Noid", for example? You might've thought that Dominos had simply decided against further marketing of the bizarre-yet-well-known creature. Nope - he succumbed to a bloody defeat at the hands of Little Caesar in 1989. (The real story of the demise of "The Noid" is actually even more "metal" than this - check it out here)

Though I cannot help but draw parallels to the Family Guy "Peter vs. Giant Chicken" saga that when I view the image above, I am nonetheless riveted at the notion of finding out who would emerge victorious. If it were up to me, their battle would be set to a prog-metal soundtrack capable of traveling the various levels of intensity and beauty that the battleground would that day be host to. My personal selection for the soundtrack to this battle is Between The Buried And Me - "White Walls". "White Walls", which can be streamed below, is a 14+ minute tour-de-force that encompasses the entire gamete of emotions and reaches the level of catharsis that any viewer would desire at the end of such a bitter battle.

What song do YOU think should provide the soundtrack to Mc Donald vs. Sanders? Check out the choices below. If you don't like any of those choices and think you've got a better idea - submit it in the comment box below!

I've got my money on the Colonel. Not only does he have wisdom and experience on his side - he's from the South. They don't fuck around down there.

  • Pantera - "Cowboys From Hell"
  • Between The Buried And Me - "White Walls"
  • Metallica - "Blackened"
  • Slipknot - "Surfacing"
  • Tool - "Sober"
