GWAR shows its softer and furrier side today as a PETA2 endorsement is released. Gwar frontman and Master of the Earth, Oderus Urungus, has commanded humans to stop wearing banana hammocks made of fur and start wearing human hair outfits in order to eliminate animal cruelty.

PETA2’s use of Gwar frontman is another effort to reach out and educate young adults about animal cruelty. Oderus may be a strange choice considering the violent spectacles that are expected from GWAR shows but his reasoning makes perfect sense: “…animals are in fact your superiors and are packed with yummy jizzmoglobin.”

The video is a strange juxtaposition of GWAR’s antics and terrible videos of animal cruelty, especially those of skinning of poor precious creatures. Those with weak stomachs, BEWARE. But if you’re a hardcore GWAR fan, it is highly doubtful that you do. It has been posted below for your viewing pleasure.

Tri-state rockers, you are in luck if you want to catch GWAR’s infamous antics soon.  GWAR will be performing at the Irving Plaza on June 9th. Don’t forget your white tee shirt and post apocalyptic makeup, as it is a ZOMBIE PROM.
