Following the massive success of 2010's "The Oracle", most fans suspected that Godsmack would follow their usual formula of taking a miniature hiatus while members focused on some of their other creative interests. Frontman Sully Erna has received critical acclaim and wild success on his "Avalon" side-project and the other band members have written and toured with their side-band Another Animal, which features former Godsmack guitarist Lee Richards and Ugly Kid Joe singer Whit Crane. There's even been news of an Ugly Kid Joe reunion, which would have drummer Shannon Larkin pre-occupied, too.

However, it seems that the band have all become masters of multi-tasking, because all of these projects seem to be going forward without preventing the massive Godsmack machine from missing a beat.

Godsmack will not only be embarking on a huge national tour with co-headliners Staind dubbed the "Mass Chaos Tour" (an homage to both bands' home-state, Massachusetts), but they are also preparing their first-ever LIVE album and covers EP. The live disc, titled "Live and Inspired", will feature the entire live set from last year's Detroit show on August 6.

A second disc will also be included in the package which will feature a four-song covers EP. For many weeks now, identity of the tracks has been inquired about, but no information has come forth yet. Erna promised that the tracks will be "good ones", in a recent interview with Loudwire. Internet rumblings have suggested that the tracks may actually be from more recent artists than one would expect from a covers EP. Only time will tell - and we'll be here to report on it the moment that more information becomes available!

So if you could choose the four songs, what would they be? Hit the comments box below and sound off!
