Ex-Korn Drummer Booked For DUI
David Silveria, former and original drummer of Korn, was arrested for a DUI at 10:45 am on Sunday morning in California. Huntington Beach cops were called to the scene after he accidentally rear-ended someone on his way to breakfast. After allegedly blowing a 0.0 on the Breathalyzer, cops decided to put him in cuffs after learning that he had taken a sleeping pill the night before for his insomnia. He did not realize how tired he still was. He admits to TMZ, “It was an honest mistake.”
David Silveria drummed for Korn from 1993 to 2006. He left Korn abruptly and he has had a rocky relationship with the group’s members ever since. Earlier this year, he admitted to a Korn fansite, kornspace.com, that he “left Korn because they had such bad egos and negative attitudes that I couldn’t take it anymore. End of story.” Jonathan Davis, Korn’s lead vocalist, has argued differently, “The reason is drugs. They fuck up everything.” Korn is currently on tour and will be heading to the Tri-State area this spring. More information on The Path of Totality Tour can be found here. After a 5 year hiatus, David Silveria has been working with ANYONE members, Rizz Story and Miki Black on a new project, Infinika.
