Trivium Bassist Impresses Very Special Fan
Florida band Trivium brought out a very special fan for their performance at last weekend's Gods Of Metal Festival in Milan, Italy. The band's Italian-American bassist Paolo Gregoletto invited his family to his other "hometown" concert on June 24. His biggest fan, his grandmother, was proudly sitting on the side of the stage during Trivium's performance. She watched proudly from the side of the stage as her grandson rocked out and fans moshed enthusiastically to the band’s metal grooves. Check out video footage and a photo below.
Trivium is continuing to tour in support of its latest album, "In Waves", which sold 22,000 copies in the United States in its first week, the highest U.S. chart entry of the band's career. Trivium will be touring in the U.S. this summer on the Trespass America Festival with Killswitch Engage and Five Finger Death Punch, among others. The Tresspass America Festival will be in the Tri-State area on the following dates:
8.7.12 Syracuse, NY SRC Arena
8.8.12 Glens Falls, NY Glens Falls Civic Center
8.17.12 Worcester, MA DCU Center
8.18.12 Newark, NJ Prudential Center
8.19.12 Philadelphia, PA The Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing
It won’t be long before Trivium returns to Europe for more family reunions and touring. Trivium, As I Lay Dying, Caliban and Upon A Burning Body will join forces for a European tour this fall.
