New York City residents who happen to be live music fans have plenty to smile about, especially those Brooklynites. This past week, Brooklyn’s newest concert venue, Williamsburg Park was unveiled to the public. Their first event included the Outlaw Roadshow, a show headlined by the Counting Crows.

New York City street punk/oi legends, The Casualties, have announced that their upcoming album, "Resistance", will be released on September 25, 2012. The new album will be the band's first in three years.

NJ metalcore outfit Beyond Dishonor is one of the most talked about bands in their genre and local scene, for a variety of reasons. On January 14, 2012, vocalist Reese Dunlap demonstrated a prime example of why that is. 

Last night, North Carolina progressive metal masterminds Between The Buried And Me played their first show since the end of the "Saints And Sinners" tour on December 11, 2011 at the Best Buy Theater in NYC. Those who were lucky enough to be in attendance at the show at Pop's in Sauget, Illinois were handsomely rewarded.
